Leadership Team

Senior Staff

Matt Leary, President and Founder

Matt started the company in October 1996. The first 10 years of his career he worked as a full time PCB designer specializing in OrCAD and PADs. About 15 years ago he added Allegro and Altium tools and the business started to grow. This started a transition from full time PCB Designer to more of a management role. In that time he grew the company to a 30-person organization. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1996 with a BA in Physics, after spending his first 2 years of college at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. Both before and during the early years of Newgrange Design he worked as a bartender, valet, pizza deliverer, ski instructor, house painter, and newspaper deliverer. He loves spending time with his wife, kids, and the rest of his family and friends, particularly if there is a beach, a mountain, a bike, a field or a rink involved.

Lauren Waslick, PCB Design Manager

She works with the Operations team to ensure a timely and high-quality delivery of all designs. Additionally, she is consistently focused on increasing the efficiency and experience of her team. She is experienced in designing RF, analog, digital, high voltage, high current, and power electronics using all technologies and is also extensively familiar with flex layouts. She holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Boston University and an MBA from Babson College. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys hiking with her family and her dog, Zaya.
